Indian Relay Racing
CBS News' 60 Minutes covers Indian Relay Racing — the fast-paced, bareback horse racing tradition of Native American nations that Horse Nations Racing Group is working to bring into sanctioned pari-mutuel wagering nationwide.
About Indian Relay Racing
Indian Relay Racing is one of the oldest and most thrilling equestrian sports in North America. Rooted in the traditions of Native American nations, the sport features bareback riders exchanging horses at full gallop — a test of horsemanship, teamwork, and raw speed that has captivated audiences for generations.
Horse Nations Racing Group, LLC represents the Horse Nation Indian Relay Council (HNIRC) in its mission to bring Indian Relay Racing into sanctioned pari-mutuel wagering — creating a new national racing circuit and economic opportunity for tribal nations.
